Gerina-Piller
She was born in Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birthname. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American by the nationality. From the time she was little she's always had a keen interest in participating in sport. Gerina began to play golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her secondary education. The school won an award at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. A volleyball player, she participated in state championships. In 2003 she started studying at The University of Texas. The school won every one of the tournaments she competed in during her senior years. In her college career, she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
