Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I spent months working 12 hour days cleaning floors and tear down wallpaper one child strapped on my back, and others climbing into the playpen. Ha! Everything was starting to fall into place, but we were nowhere near done. It would take a great deal of effort and an enthusiasm to shop. My three sons and I searched for hidden gems while going to estate sales in order to help reduce my expenses. The routine we had for the week was to walk from Thursday through Saturday through estate sales and garage sales, buying antique and brand new furniture while I spent on weekdays painting and sanding the driveway. My first impression was like... this is when my desire to repair furniture was born. I continued to work on furniture, even after having furnished our house. I had a space on the local market, and sold pieces there. I was able to outgrow the market because I had numerous pieces I needed. The house became a venue where I would host open houses. Up to 1,000 people could view the items on my first floor and purchase the items. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. My company was flourishing, but my family was also growing. I was balancing the demands of what it was like starting a new venture while also being a mommy. Growing Days just fit. In 2013, my lovely daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth kiddo. The direction of my business was fantastic, but I had to rest for a while. I decided to put off working on my antique furniture for a few months and spend time with my kids. It was time. However, after just a couple of minutes I began to hear my phone to ring. Calls came in asking me to help them with interior decor and home renovations. They were mostly people who visited my home to purchase furniture. The time flew by before I managed a large-scale home renovation company. It began with taking clients on one with a speed I felt at ease with. When you first spoke to me about my business in home renovation I laughed. In fact, I do amused when I think of it.
