Katherine Heigl reveals the ways that growing up as a child living in a white bubble has impacted the way that she parented her adopted family of multiracial origins. She is the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in an interview recently that in regards to skin tone, she didn't care what she wore however, after speaking about her sister's age, who was taken in from South Korea, she realized how different society treated each of both. Meg was asked whether her treatment was different in the times they went out with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. Meg said, 'Oh Sure, I've witnessed everything I've seen it all! Heigl talked to parents about the moment she realised the naivety of her actions. She said that she was upset and believed she needed to channel her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son with her 13-year spouse, Josh Kelley. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. then Adalaide who was 8 years old and is Black in 2012.
